Aaron loves going fast. That’s why he joined the Airforce. Most days you will see him streaming through the sky in his jet he calls “Firefly One”. As well as protecting the skies of Beanie Island he runs a very successful business as a sky writer. Almost every week he is writing a message in the sky for someone. Last week it was an invite to Dixie the Disco Girl’s dance party. Instead of sending out hundreds of letters she thought it would be easier if she just had Aaron write one invite to everyone up in the sky. What a great way to save paper!
 

Choc Ice Tea the Rapper Bear is one of the coolest bears in the hood! Whenever he talks, he is always rapping. Every time he brings out a new album, he tours around Beanie Island, rapping for all his fans. His favourite tune, goes like this; “Choc Ice Tea is da Rapper Bear, One of the coolest bears in the hood! Whenever he talks, people stare, Because his raps are really good! He wears big baggy pants, and raps to his fans, Like no other bear ever could.”¬ This song sure is a crowd pleaser! No wonder Choc Ice Tea is top of da charts!

Chrissy is Santa's Personal Assistant, she set's his schedule, keeps him up to date with Christmas production and compiles the Naughty & Nice list for him to go over. It's also Chrissy’s responsibility to ensure that all the reindeer are ready for their big trip on Christmas Eve.
 
 

Ask any Beanie Kid and they will tell you that Corey the Surf Boy Bear is the coolest dude on Beanie Beach. He is always after the biggest wave and can usually out surf any competitor. However Summer the Surf Girl can always give him a run for his money! Corey is fearless, well almost. They other day Taeog the Shark Bear swam over to say hello. I’ve never seen Corey want to get out the the water so fast! The last thing he wanted to be was lunch!
 

Cotton Candy the Bear loves going to the carnival. She usually goes with her best friend Fairy Floss the Pink Bear. Together, they go on all the rides. Fairy Floss loves the Ferris Wheel because you can see all of Beanie Town when you get to the top. Cotton Candy loves the Merry Go Round. She even has a favourite horse: the pink one with the long white mane! And they always come home with a showbag and a balloon!

Cuddles has become one of the most popular bears since arriving on BK Island. There is something magical about her that when you see her you just have to go up to her and give her a cuddle! Everyone who cuddles her gets a warm loving feeling that stays with them for the rest of the day! Cuddles loves the attention. The only problem is that it takes the entire day for her to go down to the shop to get some milk because everyone she sees stops to gives her a big hug. Recently she raised a lot of money for the BK hospital at the local fair by opening a “Hugging Booth” and charging $1.00 a hug. It was the most popular stand at the fair!

Dyeanne the Hairdresser Bear has just opened up her new salon “Curl up and Dye”, and already Beanie Kids are finding it hard to get an appointment. She is very artistic with her scissors and clippers. Last week Dyeanne clipped and snipped a very detailed map of Beanie Island on the tummy of Gizmo the Guinea Pig Bear so that when he goes for a walk he doesn’t get lost anymore! Dyeanne is also a great listener and loves to hear all the town gossip. She always knows what’s going on in Beanie Town! Next week is the annual BK Ball. Dyeanne’s salon has been booked out for days. Her fingers will definitely need a holiday when it’s all over.  

Gloria is a real swinging bear. Every Saturday night she goes down to the Soda Shop “The Bean Scene” to dance to her favourite Rockabilly tunes on the Jukebox. She makes sure she has a handbag full of coins to keep the music going. After her first twenty dances Gloria has a break and sits down in one of the booths for a chocolate malted milkshake and a hotdog. Then it’s time to dance to all the B-sides. Gloria’s favourite singer is Elvis Beanley. She has all his records and writes fan mail to him every week. Gloria is definitely one of the most rocking Beanies on the Island!

Not only are Mojo and Jojo brothers, they are best friends. They do everything together and share all their secrets. They hate being separated! They even sleep in the same kennel. Mojo and Jojo love going to the beach. They spend hours digging tunnels in the sand. One day, Mojo dug up an old sandal, and guess what? Ten minutes later, Jojo dug up the other one! Their favorite game is chasing the waves. They try and get as close to the water as possible without getting their paws wet. You better watch out when the waves get them, because when they shake themselves dry, everyone else around them gets wet!

You guessed it! Jolie’s favourite colour is pink! All the clothes in her wardrobe are pink. Her bedroom is decorated in everything pink. Her favourite singer is PINK! So how excited do you think Jolie was when she was given a special pink“Welcome to Beanie Island” party when she arrived? The guest list included Pink the Angel Bear, Pinky the Triangle Bear, Fairy Floss the Pink Bear, QT the Pink Monster Bear, Pinky Winky the Monster Bear and Taffie the Pink Pony Bear! There was pink lemonade, pink fairy floss and fairy bread with just pink hundreds and thousands! It was Taffie’s job to pick out all the other coloured hundreds and thousands before sprinkling them onto the bread. He wasn’t pleased! 
 

Every morning Julia the PE Teacher rides her bike down to Beanie Beach to go for a swim. Then after she returns home to shower, she jogs to the BK Primary School where she teaches Physical Education to her students. She loves to teach the young Beanie Kids about how much fun you can have while playing sport and keeping fit. Julia creates all type of cool games for her students. She always tell them that winning isn’t the important part of sport. The most important thing is to participate. That’s why when they have athletics everyone gets a prize, not just the winner. The prize is usually a sweet juicy orange!

Kayla loves purple! That is obvious! She thinks it’s the most wonderfully relaxing colour. All of her favourite things are purple. She lives in a small purple house just outside Beanie Town. She has a purple picket fence at the front with a lavender hedge. It has the most delightful perfume as you walk up the path to her purple front door. Violets and Irises attract lovely purple butterflies into the garden. When you visit Kayla’s house she will probably offer you some of her favourite things to eat, grapes, plum jam, eggplants and perhaps a little purple cabbage. You can tell Beanie Kids who have just visited Kayla. They all have purple lips! 
  

King Neptune is the ruler of the sea around Beanie Island but don’t let that scare you, he has a very gentle and kind nature and loves to throw under water parties for his fellow aquatic pals.
 

Leapy the Lemur Bear lives down in the Rainforest. He lives in a beautiful tree house that he built himself. He travels around the island via the trees and is rarely seen on the ground. His gorgeous fluffy tail helps him balance and swing from tree to tree. His tail is also very useful when he does his weekly house cleaning! It makes a great duster!

This is a stylish and beautifully illustrated picture word book with flaps to lift to encourage counting skills and number recognition. Each themed page has plenty of flaps to lift with the number of objects or animals underneath. Flaps on the opposite page show the same number with an accompanying, delicately illustrated picture underneath. Themes include at the park, on the farm and in the garden.
 

The first words the Lorelei ever said were “Clip Clop”. You will never see Lorelei without her hobbyhorse. She rides it everywhere. When she sits down for dinner she always makes sure she has an apple her horsy. Recently she has been spending time with Scarlet the Dressage Pony Bear. Lorelei would love to teach her horse to move as gracefully as Scarlet. Her dream is to perform at the next Beanie Kids Agricultural Show and win a blue ribbon for best groomed Hobby Horse!

“You’ll be smitten if you’re bitten!” That’s Lovebug the Ladybird Bear’s motto. If Lovebug ever bites you in your sleep be careful when you wake up because the first Beanie Kid you see you will fall head over heals in love with them! Each year just before Valentine’s Day Lovebug gets a huge pile of mail from Beanie Kids who ask her to visit someone they have a crush on. It is such a busy week for her that after Valentine’s Day she flies back to her home in Love Land and isn’t seen for months! But that’s OK; there is always plenty of love on Beanie Island all year round, even when Lovebug’s asleep.
 

Maria is very passionate about her dancing. Everyone in Beanie Town knows when Maria is dancing, because they can hear her stamping her dancing shoes on the floor and clacking her castanets. She has been looking for a dance partner for ages and keeps asking Shadow El Bandido to join her. But Shadow is no dancer and is afraid that Maria is going to stomp on his feet!
 
 

It is a full time job for Marilyn the Glamour Girl to look as good as she looks twenty four hours a day. As soon as she opens her eyes, she sits up to look at herself in the mirror to make sure she looks as perfect as she did before she went to bed. She then slips on her high heel slippers and walks out to the kitchen to make breakfast. When breakfast is finished she starts to prepare her wardrobe and make-up for the day. Fours hours later she is ready to walk out the door. Marilyn is the only Beanie Kid who has a red carpet from her front door to the shopping centre in Beanie Town. It is only a distance of about five hundred metres but it takes her over an hour to make the trip due to the fact that she frequently stops to pose for photographers who wait for her every day!  

Mischa the Water Princess lives in a crystal castle that stands behind a waterfall down in the rainforest. Every morning at dawn she flies over Beanie Island on her silver cloud looking for places that need rain. Her magical rain can make fruit and vegetables grow 5 times larger than normal. Dry dusty riverbanks become crystal clear streams. Sometimes Mishca will fly over Beanie Town just to give it a wash. You should see how sparkly the roofs of all the buildings appear after they are sprayed with her silver water.
